This place is mind-blowing! The property is super clean and the bathrooms are spotless. The sheets and towels from John Lewis are top-notch. The view of the open countryside from the upstairs living room is jaw-dropping. Roxana, our host, was so attentive and helpful, making our stay even better. The tram from the park and ride to the city was easy and cheap. The location is excellent, with easy access to the airport, and close to stunning walks in Cramond woods and beach. The cottage itself is spacious, warm, and comfortable, with great character. The soundproofing is on point, and the upstairs living room with planes landing is a fun experience. Roxana made us feel at home and we will definitely return.

The Keep was like a spa retreat for me and my kids, just perfect! No negatives here, only positives! Five stars for sure!
Oh, I just loved searching for a taxi in the middle of nowhere, such a thrill! So glad I didn't have to use Uber, they must be too selective for us sophisticated travelers.

The location was perfect for enjoying the beautiful hiking trails in the area. The cottage itself was spacious, clean, and had a charming character that instantly made us feel at home. The highlight was definitely the upstairs living room, where we could watch the planes landing at the nearby Murrayfield Stadium. The kids loved it, and the soundproofing made it a peaceful retreat. Roxana, our host, was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed. We can't wait to return!
My wife says that the kitchen could benefit from having a pizza tray and oven trays for making oven chips, making it more functional for families.

What a fantastic stay! The hostess, Roxana, was so warm and welcoming. She even stayed late to check us in and provided us with bread, marmalade, butter, and fresh croissants. The view from the upstairs living room was absolutely stunning, overlooking the river and surrounded by beautiful gardens. The house itself was tastefully decorated and the bedrooms had private bathrooms with modern showers. We also loved the cozy kitchen with its wooden clothes rack above the table, giving it a homey feel.
The only minor downside was that there could have been more cooking utensils in the kitchen. If we were staying for a whole week and cooking more, it would have been helpful to have additional pans, dishes, and a cafetiere.

During my stay at The Keep at Craigiehall, I was welcomed by the warm and friendly host, Roxana. She went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable stay, even providing bread, marmalade, honey, butter, and milk upon my arrival. The house itself was beyond gorgeous, with a stunning view of the River Almond and a picturesque garden. The cozy green kitchen was well-equipped and had a wooden clothes rack that added a homely touch. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, with modern showers in the private bathrooms. The spacious living room was perfect for relaxing, and the shower and bath were amazing. Despite being close to the airport, the noise was not a major issue, and the planes stopped before bedtime. The location was also convenient, with easy access to local park and rides for exploring Edinburgh. I had an excellent experience at The Keep and would highly recommend it.
